The GBR IOM Class will once again kick off the 2019 ranking season at the stunning Castle Semple Loch in Lochwinnoch, Scotland.
Forty skippers will be attending, representing all demographics of the UK including the finest radio sailing skippers in the UK and world.
Those attending can expect the warmest of Scottish welcomes and the closest of racing that the IOM class provides worldwide.
A new order for 2019?
Your guess would be as good as ours, however there have been plenty of developments over the winter period, namely the pimping of the SAILSetc 1994 Red Wine by Brad Gibson, in Brad’s very capable hands has been dominating Birkenhead club sailing, the toughest club race in the world! Can a 1994 boat win a 2019 ranking event?
With several new designs to the fold, some will be looking to upset the apple cart and kick 2019 off with a bang in what will be the final ranking event determining the GBR team attending the 2019 IOM Worlds in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
